self portraits and portraits part 2

If you’re taking photos in a studio, use a mannequin for light testing, Much easier than guesstimating!
Have fun with it.Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative.

If you set up the shot and you decide on the lighting and camera position and what you are doing, but get someone else to push the shutter, it’s still a self portrait.

The most common mistake made by photographers is that they are not physically close enough to their subjects.

Image quality depends on more than a sensor. It is also affected by lens quality and the image processing done inside the camera.

you'll always have a willing subject, and you may be able to interpret the "real you" better than others can.

You might try focusing at an object that's the same distance as the distance from the camera to the reflection, lock in the focus, recompose the image to include yourself, and take the picture.

environmental portrait- i choose this picture because, i like the colors and how its layer out in the picture.
photography self portraits- i choose this picture because its very creative.

casual portrait- i choose this picture because, its a very casual and beautiful photo.

For my self portrait i will take a photo of my friend. i will shoot her outside, in the weather that is that day. i will take different angles of the picture, and different locations to see were it bets fits the background of the photo, but its going to be outside.
