2012 in review

1. What was the best song of 2012?
the best song of 2012 to me is "girl on fire" by alicia keys. She mixes R&B and pop for this song, to give it more meaning to the title. She has sold over 30 million albums since 2001, and a 14 time grammy winner. Personally i love this song, and all her music too, but this one has reached the top 200 songs in 2012.

2. What was the best movie of 2012? to me the best movie of 2012 was breaking dawn part 2. It reached over $141,067,634 for all 8 weekends. With the genres of romantic fantasy, teen romance, vampire, and werewolf. it was the #1 rank in 4,070 theaters. It was an amazing romance movie with a great surprising twist in the end that will surprise everyone.

3. What was the most important news story of the year?the massacre of 26 children and staff at a Connecticut elementary school, along with other mass shootings, was the top news story of 2012. 20 year old Adam Lanza shot kids of 6-7 year olds, and 6 staff members that includes teachers. After this past year of gun violence, President Barack Obama has decided to put an end to all the gun included violence.

4. Who was the most important person of 2012? i think its Barack Obama, because he got re- elected for president this year. Obamas re- election to the presidential job has people wondering what he will achieve these next 4 years coming. Some immigrants hope that he will make a change to the separated families that was the cause of immigration. We all hope that Obama makes better decisions than he has done.

5. What was the biggest sports OR entertainment story OR sports/entertainment person of 2012?
i think its that the spanish singer Jenny Rivera died in a plane accident this december in 2012. Jenni was on a plane from a concert in Monterrey to toluca, Mexico and crashed in a mountainous area in Nuevo Leon stateShe was 43 and on the verge of becoming the kind of magnetic, cross-cultural public personality that her biography promised. That unfulfilled potential led to mourning from Southern California to Mexico.
