This article was about pictures that were being manipulated and that is an offense to the photojournalism association. Just because photos aren't that great at first, does not mean you can change the whole thing, i mean you can edit a little but don't change that much the original picture. To most people it can be offensive to get edited out of the picture, but its better not to exaggerate the "editing" of the photo.
The type of editing in the pictures are unethical, because its not good or acceptable to edit out of the important details of the pictures.
this picture is unethical because, in the original it shows the mother of the child, and this picture the mother is edited out.
this picture is not that unethical to me because, it actually made the picture look better. I mean i know if that was a picture of me i would want to look good specially for a magazine. So some "edits" aren't that bad.
